The Entrepreneur of the Year 2007
Chan Chong Beng of Goodrich Global Pte Ltd was awarded The Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 ~ a Rotary-ASME Award, on 11 October at Shangri-La Hotel.
Incepted in 1989, The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is a premier entrepreneurial accolade that highlights and acknowledges local entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence in their field of business while significantly contributing to Singapore's economy and society.
This year, 16 Top Entrepreneurs from 13 local enterprises were selected after several rounds of grueling interviews by the Award Judging Committee to be in the running for the title - The Entrepreneur of the Year 2007.
A firm believer in rewarding talents, Mr Chan is determined to see the potential of his employees. A man who stays in touch with the surroundings, he has a visionary foresight of planning for the future as well as taking the company one step above the rest. His ability to see things from difficult angles has earned him respect and recognition among his employees, business partners, clients and the media.
Chan Chong Beng was also awarded the Sub-Category Award, EYA for Enterprise 2007.

Mr Neo is now the father of parallel importing as well as numerous regulatory initiatives/changes in the Singapore motor industry. He is also the president of the Singapore¹s Vehicle Trader¹s Association. Representing the voices of his fellow trade businessmen, he works closely with authorities and consistently initiates policy changes.

Being a key leading industry player in its field, and one of the few service providers which are able to provide customised and integrated solutions for the commercial and industrial data communication markets, Vector InfoTech believes in delivering good services and quality products to the market.
Vector Infotech has extended its market presence and has reached countries beyond the region. In 2000, an in-house brand 'FIBERTEK' was created.
EYA for Social Contribution 2007
Kang Puay Seng and Loh Jwee Poh co-founded the Mr Bean chain store. Riding against the waves of challenges to change most shopping centers managements' perception on Soya milk as "just a cheap drink", they managed to open a chain of 28 outlets located island wide.
